Full Job Description
What You Will Do

Our Manager, Talent Acquisition, reporting to the VP, Talent, is a critical leadership role responsible for leading a centralized recruiting model that supports hourly and salaried hiring across all Freshpet locations. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement and strategic execution across all aspects of the TA function. This leader ensures delivery at the highest quality standards, establishes and maintains stakeholder relationships, optimizes processes and vendor partnerships, improves efficiency and compliance, and aligns TA initiatives with enterprise priorities.

How You Will Make an Impact

Strategy & Execution
  • Lead end-to-end recruiting operations across hourly and corporate hiring
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies that improve hiring quality, reduce turnover and enhance workforce stability
  • Manage Talent Acquisition programs including internships, targeted recruiting initiatives, etc.
  • Partner with HRBPs and business stakeholders to identify talent solutions and approach
  • Track, measure, and report progress against KPIs and strategic objectives

Optimization & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive process redesign and technology enhancements to deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience from application through offer acceptance
  • Establish and manage TA performance metrics, including time to fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, candidate experience, hiring manager satisfaction, offer acceptance, diversity pipeline indicators, and agency utilization.
  • Establish structured engagement processes and communication rhythms with hiring leaders
  • Ensure strong alignment and communication between Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners
  • Champion employer brand optimization and use market insights to strengthen sourcing, attraction, and hiring outcomes.

Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition professionals across multiple sites.
  • Create a culture of accountability, high performance, collaboration, agility, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish operational standards, quality controls, metrics, and service level agreements.
  • Oversee workload distribution, resource planning, and team structure

Vendor, Financial & Stakeholder Oversight
  • Partner with HR, plant leadership, finance and operational stakeholders to understand workforce needs and deliver proactive hiring strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align workforce planning with recruiting execution
  • Oversee optimization of all Talent Acquisition spending on job boards, agencies and search firms
  • Lead contract negotiations and vendor evaluations as needed
  • Drive process standardization and adherence across all locations to ensure compliance and consistency

What You Will Bring

Required
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 6-8 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role
  • Proven leadership of in-house and remote teams
  • Proven experience leading both hourly/higher volume and salaried/professional recruiting teams
  • Experience with global TA best practices, assessments, branding, technology, sourcing AI, vendor negotiations, metrics dashboards, and compliance
  • Strong business partnering skills; ability to influence at all levels of the organization and lead change initiatives
  • Ability to consistently work in the office 3 days per week
  • Travel between locations ~20%

The range for this position is: $145,000 - $170,000
