Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead and oversee System Support functions within our organization, including supervising a team, streamlining processes, and ensuring efficient service delivery across departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system support management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for improving operational effectiveness. In this role, the Manager, System Support, will lead both business and technical operations for system support and project management functions. This includes overseeing Business Systems Analysts supporting vendor-hosted systems while applying strong problem-solving skills, LEAN principles, and business and technical expertise to collaborate across business and IT teams. The Manager Systems Support will also be responsible for leading audit readiness and execution, as well as proactively managing and eliminating security vulnerabilities.

* Ability to work in Pacific Time Zone is a requirement of the role. *

* Ability to travel one to two times a year to Portland, Oregon. *

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective performance management practices are in place and drive a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging new tools and techniques to create sustainable, scalable solutions.
  • Lead the planning, prioritization, development, and implementation of integrated business solutions, including creating and maintaining team roadmaps, plans, and capacity plans.
  • Review proposed integrations of new applications to assess impact and ensure maximum availability of system applications; identify opportunities to automate or streamline processes through technology.
  • Collaborate with business units on defining and leading business plans that leverage technology and business processes to enhance competitive advantage; partner with business and technology peers to recommend technology investments and review architecture for alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including market research for vendor-hosted solutions, contract negotiations, and license management.
  • Participate in reviews and recommend prioritization and consolidation of projects to optimize resources and solutions in the context of business direction.
  • Provide regular reports/updates on team and system performance, incident resolution, and team development progress; stay current on industry trends and articulate the future vision by understanding internal and external challenges and identifying opportunities to generate value.

Skills and Background You'll Need

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Information Services, mathematics, or related field - REQUIRED
  • Experience: Six plus (6+) years of progressively responsible experience in application analysis and design to include the following:
  • Strong knowledge of legacy system management, IT, and administrative processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and drive change.
  • Experience with process optimization and cost reduction initiatives.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.


The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.

Salary Range:
$97,750.00 - $186,000.00
