About This RoleThis position is for a Manager, Supply Planning, SIOP professional with significant experience who owns and develops elements of function strategies and operational goals for the supply and demand planning process with short to medium-term impact on the organization. Responsible for improving existing processes and systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation. Collaborates with internal and external management to develop financial forecasts.
Job DescriptionLeads in the development of strategies for supply planning within the Commercial SIOP team.
Performs scenario planning and rough-cut capacity analysis to support supply and demand shifts, new product introductions, and product lifecycle transitions.
Lead proactive identification and resolution of long-range supply chain risks including labor, material, and equipment constraints.
Spearheads the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.
Analyzes identified supply streams and leads in the establishment of data relationship linkages.
Collaborates with product development leaders and sales and marketing team leaders to develop demand forecasts.
Leads in the planning of capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.
Facilitates with manufacturing team leaders and leads in the development of monthly production volume planning using the business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined capacity parameters.
Supports planning and reporting of finished goods, components, and E&O inventory in alignment with DOH targets and working capital objectives. Identifies gaps and risks to DOH/Inventory plans and drives actions to mitigate
Analyzes and leads in the development of new technologies to improve materials, inventory planning and SIOP capability, sustainability, and reliability.
Spearheads tracking of appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.
Required QualificationsBachelors Degree with 5+ years of experience in Planning
Preferred QualificationsStrong analytical skills and the ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs and systems. Presentation skills, ability to influence, and work cross-functionally.
Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other CompensationThis position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
