SummaryDrive the purchasing processes, tools and applications for the site/function. Advance subject matter expertise of purchasing processes, tools and application. Coach and mentor others on their strategic activities. The purchasing Manager is responsible for facilitating, mentoring and coordinating successful planning and inventory projects. This includes ensuring that both the technical and people aspects are taken into account, incorporating change management strategies. Manage resources to effectively help execute the site/function strategy deployment plans.
Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Leads and develops a high-performing procurement team, overseeing performance management, coaching, recognition, and compensation planning.
- Resolves complex procurement bottlenecks to safeguard high-priority project timelines
- Supervises ongoing communication with internal customers to gather information on materials availability and timing needs.
- Works with A/P to investigate and resolve issues with payment of supplier invoices.
- Assists in the resolution of receipt and supplier invoice discrepancies
- Reassigns personnel as necessary to optimize work.
- Drives cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to continuously align critical project timing needs.
- Partners with Accounts Payable to investigate and resolve complex receipt and supplier invoice discrepancies, ensuring timely payments and maintaining strong vendor relations.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies- Knowledge and understanding of global supply chain management, distribution methods, and global transportation services and inventory management.
- Good understanding of IT concepts and integrated business applications.
- Knowledge in Operating system ERP application related to suppliers collaboration & communication beside Reports & analysis application basics.
- Manages overall relationship with internal team with high level of collaboration and team performance.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Significant skills required in multi-tasking and time management.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.

Physical Demands- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties of this position require continuous light physical effort and exertion including prolonged repetitive motion, standing, sitting in a confined work space,
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Typical Experience- 7 - 10 years of relevant experience.
Typical Education- Bachelor's degree in any fields with SCM experiences, Business, Materials Management, APICS CPIM/CSCP/CLTD certifications, Engineering or related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
