DescriptionNorthrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for aManager Supply Chain Programs 3to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain organization. This leadership role is locatedonsiteinBaltimore/Linthicum Heights, Maryland
The selected individual will be the primary GSC interface for the Advanced Land Sensors Operating Unit, a part of the Land & Maritime Sensors Business Unit (LMS) within the Multidomain Sensing, Targeting and Survivability Division (MSTS) and will lead all local GSC personnel in the delivery of the highest levels of program strategy and execution. The successful candidate will work as a crucial member of the leadership team and will report directly to the GSC Director for LMS.
Position Responsibilities:
- Acts as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.
- Develops the material strategy and leads the activities for GSC in all phases of the program lifecycle
- Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies.
- Material cost and schedule management (EAC) using Earned Value Management.
- Leads supply chain Program execution and is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution.
- Briefs the PMO and executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance.
- Cross functional coordination as it pertains to supplier management, specifically with Operations, Quality Mission Excellence (QME), Procurement, and PMO IPT leads
- Material risk management, including identification, and mitigation planning and execution.
- Briefs Program and Executive management and Customer on the status and issues affecting Supplier performance and cost.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals or procurement, OR a Masters Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals or procurement
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
- Must have previous experience in Supply Chain
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain secret government clearance
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with a broad range of supply chain issues, including supplier management, risk management, large and complex proposals, terms and conditions, negotiations, contract types (fixed price and cost type), and post award management
- Post-graduate degree in Supply Chain or related field
- Experience developing and growing teams and shaping a performing culture
- Experience managing large, complex programs and/or organizations
Primary Level Salary Range: $167,500.00 - $251,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
