Lead the way in keeping the power flowing! As a Supply Chain Manager, you'll oversee the strategic sourcing, procurement, inventory and distribution of the materials, equipment, and services needed to support reliable electric utility operations. You'll work closely with departments across the organization and build strong relationships with vendors to ensure critical resources are available when they're needed-whether for everyday operations, major projects, or emergency response. Additionally, this position is responsible for the oversight of accounts payable. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND COMPETENCIES

Responsible for supply chain management. Specific responsibilities include management of procurement processes, accounts payable, corporate purchase card program, expense/travel management, vendor documentation, strategic planning as part of the division leadership team, policy and procedure development and managing and mentoring staff. Consistent and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

  • Provides strategic leadership to department staff to include prioritizing and assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, monitoring employee performance, ensuring staff members are trained and cross trained, resolving conflicts, and making hiring, termination and disciplinary recommendations.
  • Manages all aspects of procurement processes in accordance with legal requirements and generally accepted and/or Administrative Board adopted procurement practices including formal solicitations, contract awards and purchase order generation.
  • Identifies and implements areas for improvements, efficiencies and potential cost optimization with the supply chain process.
  • Provides guidance to project owners on the development of requests for proposals and bid specifications and works with the project owner to create evaluation criteria to ensure consistency within the organization and clarity to potential suppliers.
  • Manages and monitors the processing of all accounts payable functions ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Recommends, develops, implements, and communicates policies, programs, and processes for area of assignment and interprets them in a manner that is fair and consistent with the document's intent.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, etc.), and


  • At least six years of progressively responsible experience in area of assignment; or

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.


REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid driver's license

  • Certified Professional of Supply Management (CPSM) preferred.
