Job DescriptionManager, Supplier Quality (QA & Compliance)Coppell, TXJob SummaryThe Manager, Supplier Quality (QA & Compliance) will manage assigned product categories to ensure compliance with food specifications, safety requirements, and manufacturing standards. This role partners cross-functionally with teams across the organization and works closely with suppliers to develop, approve, and maintain processes that support world-class food safety and quality standards. The Manager will also apply industry knowledge and experience to solve complex challenges related to product testing programs, existing product improvements, and product specification refinement.
What You'll Do• Conduct supplier facility vetting and approval, specification revisions, and internal product audits for existing items.
• Develop meaningful relationships with vendors focusing on continuous improvement by influencing through good communication and documenting end-result as required.
• Collaborate with cross functional departments within a multi-tiered corporate environment to provide timely specification and formulation information related to assigned category
• Champion a culture of Food Safety & Quality
manufacturing/technology.
• Respond and resolve product issues at the supplier, distributor and/or restaurant level.
What You Bring to the Team• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field required
• 5+ years of corporate Supplier Quality experience in either foodservice or manufacturing environments
• 3+ years of experience developing, reviewing, or managing product specifications
• Experience with beef, poultry, produce, or other high-risk food categories in a food service environment preferred.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating supplier performance, managing supplier risk, and making food safety and quality decisions using data and trend analysis.
