Full Job Description
About the Role

We are looking for someone who is passionate about building a high-growth business to join DoorDash for Business, DoorDash's corporate offering. In this role, you will proactively identify and solve the root causes of customer friction to reduce defects and improve the customer experience at scale. You will analyze customer support and operational data to uncover critical trends, determine the true scope and impact of issues, and design solutions that prevent problems before they occur. You will synthesize insights that highlight key pain points, advocate for the voice of the customer, and influence strategic decisions across Product, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated first-principles thinker with a deep sense of ownership who thrives in ambiguity and consistently delivers results through influence. You are relentless in solving complex business problems, willing to challenge assumptions, and think creatively beyond standard product solutions. You can seamlessly move between strategic planning and operational execution, using data to inform decisions while maintaining a strong bias for action. You are equally comfortable setting direction, driving cross-functional alignment, and rolling up your sleeves to execute. This is a true Strategy & Operations role with significant visibility and impact across the business.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Strategy and Operations, DoorDash for Business Client Success, you will work closely with product, engineering, operations and other teams to make your vision a reality.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
  • Strategize - Understand the needs of our clients, prioritize those needs by impact on defect ratio and customer experience, and create solutions with cross-functional partners that proactively eliminate friction.
  • Operate - Get to the lowest level of detail, and scale. You will work directly with internal and external partners to execute on your short & long-term plans; you are a cross functional success enabler and an excellent operator who can deliver both product-informed and operations-driven solutions.
  • Build - Deploy a data-driven approach to identify emerging customer support trends, quantify their impact, and develop solutions that prevent defects and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Collaborate - Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure customer feedback is consistently integrated into product development and service enhancements, while also driving non-product solutions when needed.
  • Construct - Navigate in an ambiguous environment and bring structure to undefined opportunities. There won't always be playbooks or templates; instead you will create them and independently drive problems from identification through resolution.
  • Analyze - Leverage data to inform hypotheses and align cross functional partners, while understanding when data is directionally sufficient to act and move forward quickly.
We're excited about you because...
  • You have 6+ years of experience in strategy and operations, commercial management, operations, or consulting; direct management experience, high-growth startup (scaling a business from 0 - 1) experience is preferred
  • You have a proven track record of owning and leading complex cross-functional workstreams, setting strategy, driving alignment across stakeholders, and consistently delivering measurable business outcomes in fast-paced environments.
  • You are a highly analytical and strategic thinker who can synthesize complex datasets into actionable recommendations, influence decision-making, and drive business results. Advanced SQL experience strongly preferred.
  • You are deeply customer-centric and able to balance the needs of customers, merchants, Dashers, and the business while building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • You thrive in ambiguity and are comfortable operating with limited direction. You proactively identify opportunities, challenge assumptions, develop strategic solutions, and drive execution from concept through implementation.
  • You are AI-forward and leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies in novel ways to scale impact, improve team efficiency, accelerate decision-making, and solve business problems more effectively.

We expect this position to be filled by 8/18/26.
