Manager, Strategic Sales Relationship Management

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for leading and developing a team of Sales Relationship Managers supporting the design and execution of relationship and engagement strategies across private capital market (PCM) firms. This role drives high-quality, scalable business outcomes by aligning team execution to pipeline development, portfolio penetration, and revenue growth objectives. The Manager serves as a strategic leader and trusted advisor to Strategic Sales leadership, Sellers, Pricing & Review, and service delivery teams, ensuring consistent execution and advancement of opportunities through the pipeline to drive revenue and worksite employee (WSEE) growth.

Responsibilities
  • Leads, manages, and develops a team of Sales Relationship Managers, ensuring consistent execution across PCM engagements.
  • Establishes performance expectations aligned to pipeline development, portfolio penetration, and revenue outcomes.
  • Coaches team on portfolio strategy, engagement planning, value articulation, and pipeline advancement.
  • Conducts pipeline, account plan, and performance reviews to drive accountability and results.
  • Oversees relationships with private equity and private capital market firms through direct engagement and team guidance.
  • Ensures execution of portfolio mapping and stakeholder intelligence across assigned firms and portfolio companies.
  • Guides strategic account planning and quarterly business reviews with PCM firm stakeholders.
  • Drives portfolio penetration and expansion strategies through coordinated upsell and cross-sell execution.
  • Aligns team activities with Sellers, Pricing & Review, and deal teams to accelerate pipeline and convert opportunities to revenue and WSE growth.
  • Ensures consistent CRM utilization (e.g., Salesforce) to track engagement, portfolio intelligence, and pipeline performance.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma is required. Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field is preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of experience in Strategic Sales, Account Management, or related experience is required. Experience with private capital markets or multi-entity client environments is preferred.
