Manager, Strategic Procurement, you'll play a critical role in making sure the materials and services our operations depend on are available, cost-effective, and aligned with business needs. You'll turn demand forecasts, supplier insights, and market conditions into sourcing strategies that strengthen supply continuity, manage risk, and support long-term growth.

What You'll DoLead and Develop a Strong Team- Create clear expectations, strengthen team capability through coaching, and support better day-to-day decision-making.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and constructive problem-solving across the procurement function.
Shape Procurement Strategy- Develop sourcing strategies that align with demand, supplier risk, and business priorities.
- Build contingency plans that protect supply continuity and reduce exposure to disruptions.
- Ensure procurement decisions follow a clear plan rather than reactive purchasing.
Strengthen Supplier Performance- Establish strong supplier partnerships focused on delivery, quality, and service expectations.
- Monitor performance trends, address recurring issues, and drive accountability through clear action plans.
- Reduce supplier-related disruptions through proactive performance management.
Protect Cost and Supply Reliability- Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements that balance cost, risk, and business continuity.
- Ensure key agreements are renewed and optimized before expiry.
- Align procurement execution with production requirements to maintain material availability and minimize shortages.
What You'll Bring- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience sourcing raw materials, ingredients, packaging, services, and negotiating supplier contracts.
- Strong understanding of supplier performance management and ERP/MRP systems such as D365, SAP, or Oracle.
- Proven critical thinking, relationship-building, and communication skills that help drive sound business decisions.
- Experience in dairy or food manufacturing, professional procurement certification (SCMP, CPSM), or advanced spend analysis capabilities would be considered an asset.
