Position Summary

The Manager, Strategic Initiatives serves as a trusted partner to the President of Growth & Strategic Initiatives, providing high-level administrative, operational, and project management support. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective execution of strategic priorities through exceptional organization, stakeholder coordination, communication management, and project oversight.

This individual will act as a key liaison across departments, helping drive alignment, accountability, and progress on critical organizational initiatives that support LAZ's long-term growth objectives.

Principal Responsibilities:

Executive Support

  • Manage and prioritize the President's calendar, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications, including emails, correspondence, and meeting requests.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, meeting materials, and executive briefings.
  • Track follow-up actions and ensure timely completion of commitments and priorities.
  • Exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive business matters.

Strategic Initiatives & Project Management

  • Support the planning, execution, and implementation of strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend solutions to maintain project success.
  • Prepare project status updates and executive summaries for leadership stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams and business partners.
  • Assist in developing business cases, conducting research, analyzing data, and evaluating growth opportunities.
  • Track key performance indicators and support strategic decision-making through reporting and analysis.

Meeting & Event Coordination

  • Organize and coordinate meetings, leadership sessions, workshops, and strategic planning events.
  • Prepare agendas, document meeting minutes, and manage follow-up action plans.
  • Assist with conferences, industry events, and departmental activities as needed.

Operations & Office Administration

  • Maintain organized records, files, project documentation, and reporting tools.
  • Support departmental operational processes and administrative activities.
  • Ensure resources are available to support efficient team operations.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting senior executives, business leaders, or strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including coordinating deadlines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
  • Parking, mobility, transportation, real estate, or related industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience supporting business development, innovation, growth, or strategic planning initiatives is preferred.
