Purpose:
The Manager, Strategic Capabilities – Digital Enablement is responsible for driving implementation and governance of trade compliance analytics capabilities to enable proactive compliance risk management, actionable business insights, and data-driven decision-making. This role leads the expansion and optimization of the Customs Declaration Data Lake Analytics platform (Project Cockpit) and delivery of scalable analytics solutions that support trade compliance excellence. Responsibilities include developing KPI frameworks, executive dashboards, and reporting solutions; translating complex trade data into meaningful insights; and ensuring successful adoption of digital capabilities through training, governance, change management, and user enablement initiatives.
This role serves as a key liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring digital solutions align with GTC standards, stakeholder needs, and enterprise compliance goals.
The position partners closely with stakeholders across Global Trade Controls, Global Transportation & Trade Operations, Technology, Data Science, MedTech and Innovative Medicine supporting analytics initiatives to increase visibility to J&J import and exports key processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the expansion, enhancement, and governance of the Customs Declaration Data Lake Analytics platform (Project Cockpit), enabling actionable insights, proactive compliance risk identification, and data-driven decision-making across Global Trade.
Define and manage the digital product roadmap, prioritizing capabilities and backlog items based on business value, compliance requirements, and stakeholder needs.
Partner with the Technical Product Owner to translate business and compliance requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and deliverables that ensure successful solution implementation.
Collaborate with Global Trade Controls Process Leads (GPLs) to define, implement, and monitor metrics and KPIs that measure adherence to GTC Standards and drive continuous improvement.
Design and maintain dashboards, analytics, and reporting solutions that provide visibility into compliance performance, operational effectiveness, and trade risk exposure.
Transform trade compliance and operational data into executive-level insights, visualizations, and performance reporting that support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop training materials, user guides, and communication strategies to accelerate digital capability adoption and enhance organizational effectiveness.
Lead user onboarding, access governance reviews, training coordination, and change management initiatives to ensure business readiness and maximize utilization of digital solutions.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in Global Trade, Supply Chain, Compliance, Digital Transformation, Business Operations, or related fields is required.
Demonstrated experience in analytics, business intelligence, data governance, and performance measurement within Global Trade, Compliance, Supply Chain, or similar regulated environments is required.
Experience supporting business systems, technology implementations, digital programs is required.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder relationship is required.
Strong analytical, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills is required.
Experience working with data, reporting, process improvement, and technology-enabled business solutions is required.
Experience with Power BI is required.
Experience with Tableau, SQL, Alteryx, or related analytics tools is preferred.
Experience developing KPIs, executive dashboards, and data visualizations and performing quantitative analysis is required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$112,150 to $162,150
