What You'll DoYou'll serve as a strategic advisor to clients and colleagues while helping manage a variety of federal, state, and local tax controversy matters, including:
- IRS and State Tax Examinations
- Administrative appeals and dispute resolution
- Tax notices and information requests
- Penalty abatement and collection matters
- Tax research and controversy strategy
- Client advocacy and representation before taxing authorities
- Consultation with partners and engagement teams on complex tax matters
- Development of client relationships and business opportunities within the practice
Depending on experience and level, this individual may also play a significant role in mentoring staff, developing processes, and helping drive the continued growth of the firm's tax controversy capabilities.
