Division: Security

Work Arrangement: Onsite only

Location: Houston, TX

Salary Range: $88,583 - $104,215

FLSA Status: Exempt

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Summary

Responsible for managing and overseeing security operations at Baylor College of Medicine and maintaining a safe work environment for the BCM Community.

Job Duties

  • Manages and oversees the daily activity of the security operations for Baylor College of Medicine at The Cullen Tower Complex.
  • Collaborates and advises with internal offices, including Title IX, Human Resources, and General Counsel, on complex and sensitive security matters.
  • Recommends and implements process and policy improvements related to security and safety.
  • Manages reports for compliance reporting.
  • Follows established processes to resolve security issues.
  • Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls.
  • Manages Security team members and operations, including scheduling of appropriate security coverage.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Security.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Five years of relevant experience.


Department-specific Requirements

  • Must be eligible for PSB, DOE Y12, and Clery Act ASR clearances.
