Job DescriptionManager Security at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is Full Time and Day shifts.
Directs the hiring and scheduling of the Public Safety officers (PSO) and Information Assistants (IA). Provide for the safety and security of patients, visitors, and Medical Center staff. Maintains records and prepares all necessary reports pertaining to DPS. Conducts investigations and maintains liaison with local and state law enforcement and emergency services. Conducts Disaster drills with state and local emergency services. Attends emergency service meeting at state, county, and local level.
Required Qualifications:- Coursework/Training: Environmental orientation within 30 days of hire.
- Upon hire: California Security Guard Registration
Preferred Qualifications:- Coursework/Training: Advanced peace officer or corrections Standard of Training.
- Upon hire: California Police Academy-post certified
- 5 years Experience in active law enforcement or corrections.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
