Position Summary

The Manager, Sales Training supports the creation and delivery of high-quality learning programs that elevate sales performance and reinforce a consistent selling approach across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Sales Training & Development, this role executes training initiatives, facilitates learning experiences, maintains training resources, and partners with cross-functional teams to drive measurable business outcomes.

This role contributes across the training lifecycle-including needs assessment, curriculum support, facilitation, enablement tools, measurement, and continuous improvement-and serves as a collaborative partner to Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Product, and other commercial functions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Facilitation
  • Coordinate andfacilitateengaging training events rooted inadult-learningprinciples and aligned with strategic direction and evolving business needs.
  • Deliver onboarding and ongoingtrainingthatbuilds product and clinical knowledge, strengthens selling skills and talk tracks, reinforces sales processes, enhances soft skills, drives effective use of systems and tools, and promotes consistent field execution.
  • Ensure training content is delivered consistently and aligned withestablished training programs, curricula, learning paths,sales methodologies,and organizational standards.
  • Organize and deliver engaging training experiences that support effective new hire onboarding and accelerate time to productivity.
  • Communicate pre-work expectations, bridge assignments, and follow-up guidance to learners throughout thenew hire and continuous learningtraining cycles.

Content & Curriculum Development
  • Developcourse curricula, workshops, and learning materials.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Leadership, andother internal and external thoughtleaders tomaintainclinicallyaccurate, compliant,and strategy-alignedtraining.
  • Support content updates, including product knowledge, sales process reinforcement, and field-relevant tools or resources.
  • Bring real-world field insights, challenges, and trends into training to ensure contentremainsrelevant, practical, and execution-focused.
  • Partner with sales leadership and internal/external stakeholders toidentifyopportunities and proactively recommend training solutions tied to business priorities.
  • Developand assembletraining content, including presentations,checklists, facilitator guides,voiceovers, videos, LMS-based modules, and other learner resources.
  • Transform subject matter expert (SME)inputinto structured training materials aligned with learningobjectives.

Overall Program Support, Execution, & Evaluation
  • Provide support for Sales LMS administration includingco-managing enrollments,learning paths,assignments, completions, certifications, and reporting.
  • Assistwithcreation anddistribution offieldcommunications.
  • Support program evaluations, collect learner feedback, and helpidentifyopportunities to refine and improve training effectiveness.
  • Partner with the peer Manager of Sales Training to coordinate calendars, prep materials, divide facilitation loads, logistics, venues, materials, attendance tracking for live and virtual programs and maintain training documentation.
  • Address questions from sales representatives seeking guidance on matters of knowledge, execution, and clinical support. This could include co-travel and support with physicians.
  • Serve as an expert on products, resources, and strategic direction.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  • Assist with other Marketing and cross-functional related projects and initiatives as required.
