Full Job Description
Netflix is seeking a Sales Incentive Compensation Manager to be a critical builder of the Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC) program, supporting the Advertising business. This means driving new solutions across SIC plan design, data management, payout operations, program analytics and insights, and process/tool design and implementation. The role requires passion for customers and advertisers, analytical thinking, strategic relationship building, and the ability to influence at all levels of the org in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in Sales Incentives and/or Sales Operations programs, with a track record of building and managing the processes and metrics that support a fast-growing sales organization. They've shown real AI capability, having implemented practical AI solutions within an SIC program. This person can manage multiple projects at once, build and drive roadmaps for the SIC program, and navigate complex problem-solving. They will own the evaluation, implementation, and rollout of sales incentive plan designs. This includes plan change impact modeling, financial modeling, and feasibility assessments. This role will own the sales incentive plan document creation and signature process, content and collateral creation and management, and the sales readiness plan. This role is accountable for delivering SIC plans through operational processes and tools, ensuring payment accuracy. The role requires strategic relationship building and close collaboration w/Sales Operations, Sales, Finance, HR/Talent, Legal, and other Netflix partner teams. Responsibilities • Build a mechanism for Incentive Plan Design proposal intake and assessment. • Operate as a critical input/voice in the Incentive Plan Design proposal development and approval process. • Develop operational plans to support Incentive Plan Design implementation. • Partner with SalesOps, FP&A, Central Revenue Ops, Ads Product Tech, Sales, and HRBP to negotiate alignment on operational plans and SLAs for Incentive Plans. • Perform feasibility assessments for Incentive Plan proposals, including operational cost modeling and projecting outcomes. • Create efficient and simple workflows and solutions to support approved Incentive Plans. This may include project management of temporary manual workflows, automation, tool builds, policy creation, and other solutions as needed. • Develop Sales Readiness plans for rollout of Incentive Plan Design changes and updates. Will also deliver sales training, at times. • Drive simplicity and efficiency through Sales Incentive Compensation operations through a continuous improvement approach. Accountable for full Incentive Plan lifecycle design. • Propose and present ideas effectively, influencing decisions and outcomes. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in related field • 7+ years of sales incentive compensation, FP&A, or sales operations experience • Expert level user of Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel • Experience working with Sales CRM and SIC tools (such as Salesforce and CaptivateIQ/Xactly/SPIFF) • Experience implementing variable sales compensation plans • Demonstrated experience delivering SIC solutions with AI tools (Cowork, Gemini, etc.) • Ability to define, aggregate, and analyze metrics to assess performance drivers • Experience setting, interpreting and governing policies for a global program • Experience with sales incentive compensation models for advertising/media • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills • Demonstrated understanding of finance/FP&A concepts and processes • Exceptional attention to detail Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $225,000.00 - $370,000.00. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
