Job Description
The core mission for the Sales Enablement Manager is to improve the effectiveness of BCBSM's sales team. This role is responsible for understanding and assessing the overall sales team experience, including pain points, barriers, feedback and insights, to develop a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that supports sales teams in driving greater market share, retention, and revenue growth. This role will oversee a team of sales enablement professionals to design and deliver sales leader development programs, create innovative training solutions, and manage sales content and technology to enhance the performance of internal and external sales agents. This leader will build relationships with cross-functional teams, present to all levels of the organization and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and industry trends to inform sales enablement strategies.
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that leverages data and analytics to drive the company's market share, retention and revenue growth and ensure that internal and external agents have the skills and abilities to engage with customers.
Design and deliver leader development programs that build coaching capabilities, elevate team leadership, and drive performance at scale.
Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams of executives, sales leaders, product teams, underwriting and other sales support across the enterprise.
Lead regular touchpoints to ensure alignment and effective communication of sales enablement initiatives.
Lead the maintenance, analysis, evaluation and continuous improvement of sales enablement content management systems, information architecture and technology through development of KPIs to improve the performance of internal sales professionals and external agents.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field is required. Master's degree in related field preferred.
Five (5) to seven (7) years of sales or marketing or enablement experience is required.
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience leading a team is required.
Certification in Sales, such as Certified Sales Enablement Professional (CSEP) or Certified Sales Professional (CSP) preferred.
Experience in Salesforce or similar Customer Relationship Management systems.
Understanding of the health insurance industry, including products, trends and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of principles related to adult learning.
