Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

The Manager, Fleet/RoadSafetyis responsible fordeveloping, implementing, and overseeing global fleet and road safety programs to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and directcontinuous improvement in transportation safety performance. This role leadscross-functional initiatives to protect employees, contractors, and the public, and supports businessobjectivesthrough effective risk management and regulatory compliance.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • 30% Develop, implement, andmaintainglobal fleet and road safety policies, procedures, and standards.

  • 20% Lead incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes for fleet/road safety events.

  • 15% Analyze fleet safety data, trends, and KPIs; report findings to senior leadership and recommend improvements.

  • 15% Coordinate driver training, qualification, and safety awareness programs across all regions.

  • 10% Manage compliance with applicable transportation, road safety, and fleet regulations (local, regional, global).

  • 5% Collaborate with procurement, operations, and HR to ensure safe vehicleselection, maintenance, and driver management.

  • 5% Support sustainability initiatives related to fleet operations (e.g., emissions reduction, eco-driving)

Other Duties

  • Participate in EHS&S audits and assessments

  • Develop and mentor regionaloffice/deliver/fleet specialists andcommercialleaders/teams by providing technical training,expertiseand solutions

  • Develop,implementand help coordinate road safety training modules and coordinate regional trainings withregional office/deliver/fleet specialists

  • Support crisis management and emergency response related to fleet incidents

  • Represent the company in external fleet safety forumsand industry group

Required Qualifications

  • Required Minimum Education:Bachelors degree in Safety, Engineering, Transportation, or related field

  • Required Years of Related Experience:6-8+ years in fleet/road safety management or EHS

Required Knowledge,Skillsand Abilities:

  • Expertisein fleet safety regulations and standards

  • Ability to work in a cross-regional, cross-sector, and cross-functional teamStrong analytical and data management skills

  • Experience with incident investigation and corrective action

  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement

  • Strategic vendor/supplier managementskills

  • Valid driver license andgood drivinghistoryrequired.
