Job Highlights:

The Manager of the Revenue Cycle and Patient Access Representative team will provide leadership and support to the staff as well as operational management.

Location: SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison, WI

Qualifications: Experience leading with metrics and driving staff accountability and engagement. Progressive leadership exprience, experience with Patient Access /Registration, EHR, and excellent communication service skills.

Job Summary:

Manages the daily operations for one or more functions within Revenue Cycle Patient Access such as patient scheduling, registration and admissions functions.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists with developing goals, standards, and objectives that directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Responsible for management functions including activities related to staffing such as recruitment, hiring, performance evaluation, and compensation determination.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards and initiatives.
  • Monitors departmental budgets and regulatory compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.


EXPERIENCE

  • Five years' experience, with two years' in leadership

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
