About the Position The Manager, Registration, Records & Student Funding provides leadership and supervision for the Registration & Records and Awards & Financial Aid teams within the Registrar's Office & Student Experience department. This role is responsible for operational planning, resource management, staff development, and the continuous improvement of unit services and initiatives to support student success and an exceptional student experience.
The Manager oversees the coordination of student registration processes, the integrity and maintenance of student records, and the effective administration and communication of scholarships, awards, and financial aid for students. The role ensures the efficient and effective delivery of these services while maintaining compliance with institutional policies and procedures, government regulations, and industry best practices.
The Manager collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery, strengthen communication, develop and implement strategic enrolment plans, and assess the effectiveness of programs and processes. Through a student-centred approach, the Manager contributes to creating a seamless and supportive experience throughout the student lifecycle.
Position Details•
Student Registrationo Organize and prepare block registration using system tools, collaborating with program chairs to meet academic needs.
o Gather data for analysis and quality assurance, implementing technological changes to support registration processes.
o Coordinate communications with students regarding registration and develop policies and procedures.
o Troubleshoot student registration-related problems.

Student Recordso Coordinate systems and resources for convocation and term end processing, ensuring accuracy of institutional academic standing and graduation eligibility.
o Gather data for analysis and quality assurance, implementing technological changes to support records management.
o Develop and implement policies and procedures regarding student records.
o Troubleshoot student records-related problems.

Student Awardso Oversee awards adjudication processes and ensure equitable criteria
o Collaborate on scholarship development and funding alignment
o Implement and interpret policies and procedures within unit
o Gather data for analysis and quality assurance, implementing technological changes to support unit processes
o Develop and implement policies and procedures regarding student funding.

Financial Aido Support the development of strategies and initiatives to promote awareness of financial aid opportunities
o Ensure accuracy of program data for funding eligibility (e.g., LISO, PAPRS)

People Developmento Attract and retain staff through recruitment, selection, and orientation processes.
o Monitor and assess staff performance, providing coaching and mentoring as needed.
o Conduct performance reviews, provide professional development opportunities, and ensure adherence to ethical guidelines.
o Manage budget, assign project work, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.

Communication and Collaborationo Develop communication plans internally and externally, ensuring alignment and avoiding information conflicts.
o Foster working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as high school counselors and administrators.
o Collaborate with marketing, communications, and IT departments to enhance student engagement.
o Utilize CRM systems for communication and collaborate with other operational units to achieve enrollment and retention goals.

Assessment, Research, Planning, and Programmingo Review data to support enrollment and retention goals, identify trends, and measure effectiveness.
o Conduct quality assurance monitoring, incorporate best practices, and influence policy development.
o Facilitate data collection for assessment and evaluation, implement program changes based on findings.
o Contribute to the development and implementation of the Strategic Enrollment Plan.
Required Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred and minimum of 5 years experience in a student enrolment role at a post-secondary institution.
Preferred Qualifications• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with experience in recruitment, selection, and performance management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data analysis, assessment, and program evaluation.
• Knowledge of student registration and records systems and relevant policies.
• Knowledge of student awards/scholarships and financial aid systems and relevant policies.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to technological changes and explore innovative solutions.
Salary Starting from $78,952 to $92,885 per annum; commensurate with education and experience.
