Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Regional Training Manager (RTM) is dedicated exclusively to training, upskilling, and operational deployment support within KeHE’s distribution centers (DC). This role owns the delivery, quality, and accountability of new hire onboarding and training, and on-the-job and leader training. This position also supports deployment-related training and change management in alignment with KeHE’s operational priorities. The RTM serves as the single point of accountability for warehouse training effectiveness, partnering closely with DC leadership and enterprise stakeholders to drive safe, high-quality, dependable, and productive operations through strong people development. This role does not work front-line shifts and is focused entirely on building capability, supporting change, and developing others.

Essential FunctionsDUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of:
- New Hire Onboarding and Training
- Supervisor/Leader training
- On-the-job training programs anchored in SQDCP
- Operational deployment training (process changes)
- Execute clear training expectations, standards, and performance outcomes across the DC.
- Monitor and report training effectiveness and track execution for compliance using leading and lagging indicators (e.g., safety, quality, productivity, retention).
- Lead and manage on-the-job trainers, providing strong performance feedback, coaching, and development.
- Act as a visible leader and influencer within DC, fostering a strong learning culture.
- Provide feedback and coaching to align associates with training objectives.
- Support future operational deployments, system changes, and process improvements by ensuring training readiness and adoption, and partner with operations, engineering, IT, safety, and COE teams.
- Act as the training subject matter expert for DC-level implementations affecting skills, processes, or technology.
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset to training systems, content, and delivery methods.
- Identify gaps, root causes, and opportunities tied to SQDCP objectives that could be supported by training.
- Leverage data and insights to improve learning effectiveness and speed to proficiency.
- Provide feedback to the Talent Development team for continuous improvement of onboarding and training.
- Deliver engaging facilitation for individuals and groups across levels.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Communicate clearly and effectively with DC leadership, peers, and team members—both verbally and in writing.
- Deep knowledge of warehouse operations, including workflows, systems, and performance drivers.
- Strong understanding of safety, quality, dependability, culture, and productivity within a distribution environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint – Advanced, Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of PowerBI, SmartAccess, Blue Yonder, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, AptitudeEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Education, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or operations leadership.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- Willingness to travel 50%.
