Job Summary

The Regional Outreach Manager develops and strengthens relationships between Shannon and hospitals, clinics, providers, and other partners throughout the region. The Manager partners with Shannon providers and leaders to support regional outreach, promote service lines and clinical practices, identify business development opportunities, and advance relationships that benefit patients and regional partners.

The Manager maintains an active presence throughout the region through regular travel to partner facilities and communities; maintains accurate relationship, contact, and outreach information; prepares for on-site meetings; and provides timely verbal and written updates regarding partner interactions, needs, opportunities, and follow-up activities. The role also develops recurring reports and informational materials for Shannon leadership and regional partners and leads discussions, educational programs, and other engagement opportunities.

The Manager analyzes relevant market, referral, and operational data to identify opportunities for growth, service alignment, and strategic partnership; coordinates the work of assigned personnel to support effective outreach and business development activities; and promotes internal and external awareness of partnership opportunities. The Manager also serves as a key source of regional market intelligence, helping Shannon leadership assess emerging needs, opportunities, and alignment with organizational brand and clinical priorities.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications/or related: Required
  • Master's degree in marketing/communications/or related: Preferred

Experience:

Preferred
  • Experience working within a hospital, health system, physician enterprise, or similarly complex healthcare organization.
  • Knowledge of Shannon operations, policies, organizational structure, and key internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing partnerships, physician alignment, practice development, or regional network strategies with measurable results.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic plans, performance measures, and implementation tools across multiple stakeholders, departments, or organizations.
  • Experience using data, performance metrics, and market intelligence to evaluate opportunities, monitor progress, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare industry trends and delivery models relevant to hospitals, physician practices, population health, rural healthcare, and post-acute care.
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and work effectively with clinical, operational, administrative, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, including clinical, business, executive, and community stakeholders.
