Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is currently seeking an
Manager, R&D Data, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence 6 Immunology Real World Evidence to join our Data, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence team (DDSAI) and work at one of our sites in either Spring House, PA, Cambridge, MA, Titusville, NJ, or Raritan, NJ (no fully remote option available).
The Manager, R&D Data, Data Science & AI (DDSAI), Immunology Real0World Evidence (RWE), is an individual contributor responsible for supporting data science and real0world evidence activities for Immunology research and development programs. The role applies established real0world methodologies to generate insights that inform clinical development and internal scientific decision0making.
Working under guidance within a defined scope, the Manager partners with cross0functional teams to translate disease and therapeutic area priorities into actionable research questions while aligning with established functional strategies, standards, and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of real0world and digital health evidence plans aligned with Immunology disease and therapeutic area objectives.
- Contribute to defined evidence generation workstreams supporting clinical development programs, including evidence gap assessment, patient characterization, subgroup identification, endpoint exploration, asset differentiation, and comparative effectiveness analyses.
- Apply established data science and statistical methods to real0world data sources to address prioritized scientific and development questions.
- Collaborate with Disease Area Strongholds, Compound Development Teams, and cross0functional partners to help ensure deliverables meet program evidence needs and timelines.
- Support project activities, including data fit0for0purpose assessment, protocol development, results documentation and interpretation, and stakeholder communication throughout the project life cycle.
- Provide methodological input within cross0functional teams and escalate complex technical questions to senior colleagues as appropriate.
- Prepare analytical summaries, presentations, and written materials for review by internal stakeholders and governance forums.
- Contribute to scientific manuscripts, abstracts, and internal knowledge0sharing activities based on clinical trial and real0world analyses.
- Support external scientific collaborations by contributing to real0world evidence deliverables under guidance from senior team members.
- Participate in cross0functional initiatives that enhance data science, digital health, and real0world evidence capabilities across the organization.

Required Qualifications
- PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent advanced degree in statistics, bioinformatics, epidemiology, computational biology, data science, or related quantitative discipline.
(Candidates with a Master0degree and relevant experience may be considered.) - Relevant experience applying or supporting data science or real0world evidence methods within pharmaceutical R&D, healthcare analytics, consulting, or a related professional field.
- Ability to work effectively within matrixed, cross0functional teams.
- Familiarity with real0world data sources such as electronic health records, administrative claims, registries, or secondary data.
- Strong analytical, problem0solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Immunology or related therapeutic area programs.
- Experience contributing to research projects using statistical methods, predictive modeling, or machine learning.
- Experience supporting scientific publications, abstracts, or regulatory0supporting analyses.
This position will be located at one of our campuses in either Spring House PA, Cambridge MA, Titusville NJ, or Raritan NJ (no fully remote option available). Domestic and international travel may be required on a limited basis.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $117,000 to $201,250. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation0s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company0s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company0s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation 6 up to 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays 6 up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
