Job Summary

Location: Carrollton, GA

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that products manufactured at the site consistently meet applicable customer, regulatory, and industry requirements. The role is accountable for site-level product conformity, nonconforming material disposition, corrective action effectiveness, and compliance with applicable quality and certification standards. The position deploys and sustains company quality processes at the site and works closely with Operations, Process Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to prevent defects, maintain readiness for Customer and other External audits, and protect the site's ability to ship compliant product. The role also partners with the Corporate Quality team to ensure alignment with company standards and to leverage tools, expertise, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure products manufactured at the site meet applicable customer, regulatory, and industry requirements.
  • Control, document, and disposition nonconforming material to prevent unintended use or shipment.
  • Lead investigation and corrective action for quality issues and ensure actions are effective and sustained.
  • Maintain continuous readiness for customer, regulatory, and certification audits (e.g., ISO 9001, UL, CSA) and ensure timely closure of findings.
  • Deploy, execute, and sustain company quality processes within daily site operations.
  • Ensure inspection, testing, and measurement methods are appropriate, controlled, and reliable for demonstrating product conformity.
  • Ensure accurate identification, classification, and reporting of scrap, rework, and nonconforming material in accordance with company standards.
  • Contribute to reduction of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) by preventing defect-driven losses and reducing recurring nonconformances.
  • Work with Operations, Process Engineering, Maintenance, and other teams to distinguish process capability issues from quality conformance failures and support appropriate actions.
  • Protect the site's ability to ship compliant, certified product through effective controls, escalation of quality risks, and sustained corrective action.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Manages staff performance and development, coaching team members to achieve their full potential in contributing to the department's goals.


  • Required Education & Experience

    Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

    Specialized Degree: Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Materials-related Engineering; Engineering Technology

    Licenses/Certificates: ASQ certifications (CQE, CQM); ISO 9001 Auditor; Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt

    Years of Experience: 5-7 Years

    Field of Expertise: Manufacturing quality within a high-volume or continuous production environment.Experience with product conformity, nonconforming material control, and corrective action.Experience supporting customer, regulatory, or certification requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, UL, CSA).

    Preferred Education & Experience

    Specialized Degree: Advanced coursework or degree in Quality, Manufacturing, or Operations Management is a plus

    Licenses/Certificates: ASQ certifications (CQE, CQM, CQA); ISO 9001 Auditor; Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt

    Years of Experience: 8-11 Years

    Field of Expertise: Experience in heavy or continuous manufacturing, preferably electrical wire and cable or similar process industries.Experience supporting customer audits, regulatory compliance, or product certification programs (e.g., UL, CSA).
