Job DescriptionThe Manager of Quality is responsible for Quality Management, Regulatory Compliance, and performance improvement activities at either Kadlec Regional Medical Center or St. Mary Medical Center (Southeast Washington Service Area). The Manager provides vision and leadership throughout the organization relative to continuous improvement of clinical quality outcomes. The Manager designs, implements and maintains systems ensuring integration of quality improvement activities at the ministry. This position is responsible for assuring that safeguards are in place so that patient safety is a top priority for all medical staff and caregivers. The Manager is responsible for the Medical Center meeting requirements and standards of the Joint Commission and other applicable State and local regulatory and accrediting agencies.
This position will primarily be onsite at St Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA.Required qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field, from an accredited school of nursing
- Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
- 5 years Experience in hospital acute care.
- 3 years Recent leadership experience.
- Experience with Joint Commission standards, state and federal regulations, and compliance.
Preferred qualifications:- Master's Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or related field.
- Policy development and analysis of complex data.
