We're searching for a Manager of Quality and Safety, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll provide formal leadership to staff and informal leadership to the medical staff, hospital leadership and others by contributing to and maintaining continuity in the planning, development and implementation of the quality and safety program.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Partners with staff, medical staff, and hospital leadership to ensure excellence in the performance improvement, patient safety, and outcomes management programs as evidenced by improved outcomes, decreased preventable harm and advancement in the organizations culture of safety
  • Creates and facilitates collaboration and cooperation among diverse groups, people and professional disciplines to achieve the desired results in improving patient care and safety
  • Coaches, develops and manages staff to assure continual refinement and development of new skills related to performance improvement, safety and leadership
  • Demonstrates project management skills as evidenced by the utilization of appropriate methodology, analysis and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrates astute fiscal accountability as evidenced by the management and justification of resources, which may include personnel, equipment, and supplies
