Role summary:

This role oversees and executes optimizing facilities maintenance asset strategy within retail and supply chain sites by driving insights and innovations, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. This role involves coordinating resources, monitoring budgets, and driving continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency. The manager fosters strong relationships with stakeholders, executes innovative projects, and implements strategic plans to optimize facility performance. By leveraging data analysis and project management expertise, the position ensures timely resolution of issues and promotes sustainable practices aligned with organizational goals. This role is critical to sustaining a safe, efficient, and cost-effective facility environment.
About the team:
Our team comprises centralized asset strategy specialists focused on optimizing asset lifecycle performance through data analytics, AI applications, and insightful reporting. We lead continuous improvement initiatives and project sprints to enhance Upstream Facilities Services within the GM Asset strategy lifecycle. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, the team ensures effective maintenance planning, preventive measures, and operational excellence. Utilizing advanced tools and processes, we support facility repair, project management, and cost optimization efforts, contributing to sustained asset performance and reliability. This team embraces a disciplined, data-driven approach to achieve strategic business objectives efficiently and effectively.
What you'll do:
  • Drive enterprise operational efficiency by optimizing workflows, standardizing processes, and enhancing systems facility maintenance execution at scale.
  • Influence enterprise maintenance strategy by supporting the evolution of preventive maintenance, repair, and asset lifecycle programs to improve reliability and performance.
  • Support emergency response readiness through tools, data visibility, and resource alignment that enable effective field execution.
  • Enhance project and program outcomes by improving systems, tools, and processes used to manage timelines, budgets, and costs.
  • Act as a thought partner and subject matter expert, leveraging data and best practices to influence decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support business goals, and financial planning processes.


What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience in facilities management, including preventive maintenance and facility repair.
  • Strong aptitude for data-driven decision-making, with advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling) and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficiency in CMMS platforms and data analysis to generate actionable insights and support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Experience leveraging automation and digital tools, including Power Automate and AI-enabled solutions, to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and scale insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations that drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship management skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
