Job Title: Manager, Program Finance
Location: Rosslyn, VA
Position SummaryHanwha Defense USA's Shipbuilding team is seeking a Manager, Program Finance to support financial management of HDUSA's contracted programs, including cost management, Estimate at Completion (EAC) analysis, and the financial design of the subcontracting structure between affiliated shipyard entities as new programs move from bid to execution.
Key Responsibilities- Support EAC governance and contract cost management for HDUSA's shipbuilding programs, including new Navy shipbuilding contracts as they are awarded.
- Track program financial performance against budget/estimate, flagging risks and variances to program and finance leadership.
- Support the financial design and ongoing management of the subcontracting structure between affiliated shipyard entities, including cost pass-through, margin allocation, and contract risk.
- Assist with FFP/FPI contract cost analysis and support contract negotiations from a cost/pricing perspective.
- Support external Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting, including program financial metrics tied to cost and schedule performance.
- Coordinate with Contract Compliance & Pricing, FP&A, and affiliate shipyard program teams to ensure consistent cost data and reporting.
- Help transition programs from bid/compliance readiness into execution-stage cost management as new contract awards are finalized.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of program/contract finance experience in a government contracting environment.
- Experience with EAC processes, FFP, FPI, CPFF, and other government contract types, and program cost/schedule performance analysis.
- Experience supporting external Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.
- Familiarity with shipbuilding or other complex DoD acquisition programs a strong plus.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with program management, contracts, and compliance teams.
- Comfortable operating with evolving processes in a newly formed, fast-growing organization.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
