Manager, Products and Services - Health Initiatives

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads product analysis, development and implementation efforts that support Health Initiatives' strategic goals
  • Conducts market research, business analysis and stakeholder discovery to identify new product opportunities
  • Translates product strategies into actionable project plans, requirements and measurable outcomes
  • Partners with internal and external stakeholders to design, test and improve products, programs and services
  • Manages project scope, timelines and communication while ensuring high-quality product delivery

Position Summary
This position conducts in-depth business analysis and investigation to support product identification and development designed to support individual level behavior change while leveraging the systems and structures of healthcare and public health infrastructure. Translates established product strategy into detailed project plans and requirements. Manages product analysis, development, implementation and evaluation. Builds internal and external stakeholder relationships to support product development and communicates project status effectively.

Essential Duties
  • Partners with the senior management team to support the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of product strategies consistent with Health Initiatives' vision. Provide recommendations to expand product portfolio.
  • Conducts in-depth business analysis and investigation to create product identification and development. Combines data analysis, market research, publication review, end user feedback and business goals to shape requirements, features and end products. Translates established product strategy into detailed project plans, requirements and reports.
  • Partners with key stakeholders to collect data to support comprehensive reviews and evaluation of Health Initiatives products, programs and services. Works with internal stakeholders to design, implement, and test solutions for updated product processes, programs and services.
  • Coordinate and oversees market research needed to determine the needs and desires of customers and stakeholders.
  • Executes project plans. Ensures projects are performed within scope, budget and schedule. Ensures project documentation remains up-to-date and that the latest additions are accurate and trusted. Documents and archives all developed assets.
  • Effectively manages processes for stakeholder feedback, triage, and prioritization to maintain high-quality products. Be aware of privacy, legal, and accessibility regulations to ensure consistent compliance.
  • Builds stakeholder relationships and communicates efficiently as it relates to priorities, requirements, scope, budget estimates, and product delivery. Have the ability to present product updates and project plans in a clear and concise manner to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Works with external third parties to assess and build effective business partnerships to support client and department product needs.
  • Develops product positioning in collaboration with key stakeholders to execute effective communications strategies to target markets, such as state partners.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a business, public health, public administration or a related discipline required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 5 years recent and related work experience in a product development, program management and/or project management role required. Health care experience preferred.

Salary Range: $102,589.71 - $135,674.89

Work Setting: This is a fully remote position. Candidates must reside in Colorado, Hawaii, Texas, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, New York, Wisconsin, or California.
