Title: Manager, Product Lifecycle Management - 123872
Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As a Manager,Product Lifecycle Management for JD Waterloo Product Engineering Center located in Waterloo, IA, you will:

  • Lead and Leverage global Product Lifecycle Management organization across the United States, Mexico, and France, including technical specialists, process owners, SAP/PLM support, and drafting resources
  • Be an owner of process and governance for SAP, Windchill, PDM, workflow, product structure, configuration, and related PLM processes and tools at JDPS
  • Provide global leadership for engine configuration definition, product structures, variant logic, design-to-design mapping, and configuration execution standards
  • Lead engineering drafting and modeling support to improve drawing quality, release efficiency, workload management, and first-pass execution
  • Drive CI, EPDP, APDP, and engineering release process improvements that improve consistency, cycle time, product data quality, and customer value
  • Establish global standards, metrics, training, and governance for lifecycle processes and systems
  • Work with Enterprise PLM to be JDPS voice improving the tech stack
  • Develop talent, succession plans, and organizational capability across a geographically distributed team

What Skills You Need

  • Experience leading global engineering, technical, operations, or business support organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across functions, regions, and cultures
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, engineering change management, product development, and release processes
  • Practical experience with PLM/PDM/SAP/Windchill or comparable engineering product data systems
  • Ability to set strategy, establish governance, define metrics, and drive accountability across a global organization
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills


What Makes You Stand Out

  • Deep JDPS product and engine configuration knowledge
  • Experience with enterprise product structures, variant configuration, BOM governance, and design logic
  • Knowledge of Workflow 2.0, Convergence, EPDP/APDP, CI processes, and engineering release execution
  • Experience leading drafting/modeling, engineering services, PLM administration, or engineering services teams
  • Demonstrated success driving global standardization, digital transformation, and continuous improvement


Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent working experience
