Job Description

You will be working directly with leading private equity and hedge fund firms in the alternative asset industry under the guidance and direction from our experienced team of industry veterans. You will be facilitating our service offering by assisting, performing, and reviewing the following:

What you'll do
  • You'll support multiple Private Equity fund clients, helping manage deliverables, client expectations, and timelines in accordance with partnership agreements.
  • You'll prepare and review fund accounting activities, including journal entries, investor allocations, capital account statements, management fees, capital calls, distributions, and waterfall models.
  • You'll oversee the delivery of investor communications, financial statements, and year-end requirements while coordinating with auditors and tax teams.
  • You'll respond to client requests, manage competing priorities, and identify opportunities to improve operational processes and efficiencies.
  • You'll mentor and develop junior team members while ensuring high-quality service and accurate reporting across client engagements.

Qualifications
  • You bring 5+ years of experience in private equity, public accounting, or a combination of alternative asset investment and public accounting environments.
  • You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting and strong technical expertise in accounting and fund administration for alternative investment funds.
  • You provide exceptional client service while collaborating effectively with team members and contributing to a positive, feedback-driven environment.
  • You excel at managing multiple priorities, producing high-quality work with accuracy, attention to detail, and professional communication.
  • You are proficient in tools such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, and have experience or a strong interest in training and mentoring junior team members.
