Description:The Academic Teaching Centre Clinic Manager is responsible for the overall operational and administrative leadership of a Family Medicine Teaching Clinic, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while supporting excellence in medical education. Leading a multidisciplinary team of clinical, allied health, administrative, and support staff, the Manager oversees clinic operations, workforce planning, performance management, quality improvement, and resource stewardship. Working collaboratively with physicians, learners, Primary Care Networks, academic partners, and community stakeholders, the Manager fosters an environment that promotes patient-centred care, innovation, scholarship, and continuous learning. The role is accountable for developing and implementing operational processes, supporting educational experiences for residents and students, leading service improvement initiatives, and advancing strategic priorities related to patient care, medical education, health equity, Indigenous health, and community impact. The Manager provides leadership in quality and safety, accreditation readiness, risk management, and change initiatives while contributing to strategic and operational planning. This position requires a skilled healthcare leader with experience managing multidisciplinary teams, building collaborative relationships, and driving operational excellence in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Required Qualifications: 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, ambulatory care, primary care, or academic healthcare environments. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams. Experience with budgeting, workforce planning, performance management, and operational planning. Knowledge of quality improvement, patient safety, accreditation, occupational health and safety, and risk management principles. Strong communication, relationship management, conflict resolution, and change management skills. Demonstrated ability to lead programs, projects, and operational initiatives.
