Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or 3-5 years experience in a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pricing, purchasing, or analytics within the retail industry.
- Proven experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or business intelligence software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience managing a team.
Preferred Qualifications:- 4 yr. degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or 3-5 YEARS experience in a related discipline.
- Experience with advanced analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python for data modeling.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory management systems.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP) or Pricing (e.g., Certified Pricing Professional).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-location retail environment.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies based on market trends, competitive analysis, and internal financial goals.
- Manage purchasing processes including supplier negotiations, contract management, and inventory optimization to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of sales, pricing, and purchasing data to identify opportunities for margin improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, finance, marketing, and supply chain teams to align strategies and support business objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pricing, purchasing, and inventory to ensure targets are met and report findings to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging analytics tools and methodologies to enhance decision-making and forecasting accuracy.
