What you'll do:
  • Manage a broad range of Human Resources functions, including benefit administration and assist with safety program coordination, to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal and state laws in order to promote high morale and a positive, work environment.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, specifically pertaining to FMLA, OSHA, EEOC, immigration, DOL, and ERISA.
  • Manage unemployment and appeal hearings. Supply pertinent information and participate in representation of the company.
  • Conduct verbal and/or video orientation for each new employee. Distribute, explain, collect, forward and enter benefit enrollment information for each eligible employee.
  • Maintain hourly HR database. Enter any new employees, benefit information, training information, rate changes, address changes, etc. into HR database.

What you'll need to have:

  • Minimum 5 years related experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, with human resources and labor relations work.
  • Working knowledge of Federal, State and local employment laws, including ADA, ADEA, FMLA, OSHA, worker's compensation, wage and hour laws, hiring practices, and EEO compliance. Ability to understand contractual language and Company policies.
