Manager - Pharmacy (Job Overview)Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:30AM-5:30PM)

Key Responsibilities- Establish strategic planning for Retail Pharmacy Services to meet patient care needs and regulatory requirements.
- Design, manage, and ensure efficient workflows for timely patient care.
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Perform data collection and utilize reporting tools to identify opportunities for change.
- Oversee the use of information systems and technology to support safety and efficiency.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, control expenses, and maximize revenue.
- Collaborate to optimize therapeutic outcomes and ensure cost-effective pharmacotherapy.
- Ensure compliance with audits for controlled substances and 340b adherence.
- Oversee financial operations and manage contracting and billing processes.
- Create and implement educational programs to enhance staff knowledge and patient engagement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy.
- Active Texas Board of Pharmacy License.
- Must maintain BLS /CPR.
- 5-10 years of Pharmacy experience with demonstrated success OR Completed ASHP PGY1/2 Clinical Residency and/or Administrative Hospital Pharmacy Residency.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and State/Federal laws governing medical services. Administrative, management, or supervisory experience.
- Exceptional leadership, mediation abilities, and multi-tasking skills required.
- Strong commitment to customer service and excellence in healthcare.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Basic knowledge of statistics and graphical representation principles.
- Computer literate in electronic mail, word processing, and office management system software.
- Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize.
