Full Job Description
  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Serves as the primary educator and practice resource for the department. Responsible for administrative functions pertaining to clinical practice and shares responsibility with the Director for clinical practice outcomes. Supervises clinical activities performed by pharmacists. Assumes responsibility for administrative management of the department in the absence of the Director. Also performs duties of a Clinical Pharmacist on a routine basis.
  • EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
    • Minimum Required:
      • BS Pharmacy or Pharm D., Valid NC license to practice pharmacy. Substantial experience as a hospital pharmacist.
    • Preferred:
      • Above plus supervisory/management course work/training, and course work/training/experience in adult education. Pharmacy Practice Residency (or equivalent) with Board of Pharmacy Specialty (BPS) certification. . Incumbent will be required to attain a minimum of 15 hours of ACPE approved continuing education annually.
