Job Summary:
In coordination with Director, Surgical Services, Surgical Services Outcomes Facilitator, and medical staff, provides leadership and direction to PACU, PAT, and SDS staff to ensure service, quality, safety, and financial goals are met. Maintains clinical skills set by assuming clinical patient care assignments as necessary to meet patient flow and departmental needs.
Education:
BSN or equivalent experience required. MSN, MHA or MBA preferred.
Registration/Certification/Licensure:
RN - State
Experience:
Position requires 3-5 years perianesthesia experience. Position requires 2-3 years supervisory experience in perianesthesia environment.
Other Requirements:
Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
CPR required within 30 days of hire. ACLS required within 6 months of hire. CPAN and /or CAPA certifications required within 18 months of hire. Membership in Professional Organization (ASPAN)
