JOB SUMMARY


The Manager, People Excellence Systems Recruiting, plays a critical role in optimizing and managing the end-to-end talent acquisition and onboarding processes within the Workday platform. This role serves as the functional and technical lead for Workday Recruiting for ship and shore business processes and Onboarding for ships, ensuring a seamless integration with other HR systems and alignment with organizational goals. The manager will partner with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, IT, and other stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class candidate and new hire experience.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Subject matter expert to independently lead, configure and maintain Workday Recruiting and Onboarding through ongoing optimization.
  • Collaborate with HR centers of excellence, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable HR technology solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by recommending new approaches, processes, and tools to improve Talent Acquisition strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional projects related to recruiting and onboarding technology initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and training to HR and Talent Acquisition teams on system functionality and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and user guides.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to support recruiting metrics, KPIs, and compliance tracking.
  • Ensure recruiting and onboarding processes comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Support audits and data requests related to hiring and onboarding activities.
  • Analyze business processes and resolve issues and concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS


DEGREE TYPE:

Bachelor's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY:

Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.


EXPERIENCE


  • 5+ years of proven experience configuring and managing Workday Recruiting and Onboarding.
  • Strong configuration knowledge of Workday Core HCM, Security and Reporting.
  • Experience in providing strategic consulting and working with senior HR leadership.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading HRIS projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Prior HRIS experience for a publicly traded organization with a large workforce preferred.

  • Skilled at managing large projects or processes simultaneously to meet deadlines.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • Workday Pro Certification desired
  • Project management certification a plus
