Job Overview

The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to the Popeyes restaurant leadership, providing guidance and support on various human resources functions to drive business outcomes and enhance employee experience. This role works closely with management to resolve complex employee relations issues, implement HR policies, and facilitate talent management and development initiatives. The position requires frequent travel and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with senior leaders and participate in Area Manager and Restaurant General Manager (RGM) meetings.
  • Manage investigations and partner with legal counsel to resolve complex employee relations issues while ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., background checks and I-9 processes).
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Partner with training teams to implement HR change initiatives and continuous improvement projects, delivering updates and training for restaurant management and team members.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, business unit restructuring, and succession planning.
  • Evaluate and monitor training programs to ensure they meet objectives, following up with teams to measure success.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders to enhance key programs and participate in cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.
  • Organize and lead hiring events across various outlets to attract and recruit restaurant talent.
  • Support restaurant teams with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) usage and assist with New Hire Orientations to strengthen the talent pipeline.
