The Section for Global Health within NYU Langone Health's Institute for Excellence in Health Equity is seeking a Manager of Engagement and Partnerships, AMPATH Ghana. The Manager of Engagement and Partnerships will develop and sustain strategic partnerships across the U.S. and globally for the program. Working in collaboration with AMPATH Ghana leadership and other key team members, this person will identify, initiate, and strengthen partnerships to support implementation and sustainability of the program. This individual will also contribute to the development and implementation of a robust sustainability plan and advance the programs objectives in collaboration with a diverse and growing global network of partners. The ideal candidate for this position will have expertise in partnership cultivation, global health, and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across sectors.

Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH) Ghana is one partnership within AMPATH Global, a network of universities and academic health centers that collaborate with health systems in low- and middle-income countries to ensure essential and equitable health for all people. The AMPATH Consortium has developed and inspired future leaders in healthcare in both North America and around the world, and produced hundreds of published articles, all while successfully responding to healthcare needs in homes, communities, and clinical facilities in partner sites and countries.

The Section for Global Health within NYU Langone Health's Institute for Excellence in Health Equity (IEHE) leads the AMPATH Consortium of academic health centers in the AMPATH Ghana partnership with the University for Development Studies School of Medicine (UDS-SoM), Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH), and other affiliated institutions in Ghana. AMPATH Ghana leverages the experience of AMPATH Global, builds on the strengths of Ghana's existing healthcare system, and serves as a resource to Ghanas health and education leaders. This partnership works towards mutually beneficial outcomes for all partners, improving the health and well-being of people in communities in and around Tamale, Ghana; educating tomorrows medical experts worldwide; and jointly researching breakthroughs that will inform improvements in population health around the world.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to build and sustain partnerships with academic, governmental, non-profit, and private sector stakeholders
• Identify, cultivate, and steward new partners to expand and sustain AMPATH Ghanas reach and impact
• Communicate effectively and consistently with program staff, partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration
• Prepare and share regular updates and reports with partners and sponsors
• In partnership with AMPATH Ghana leadership and Ghanaian partners, prioritize requests from stakeholders for technical assistance and related support
• Represent and present AMPATH Ghana to various academic, professional, partner, and stakeholder audiences
• Promote and disseminate the programs research agenda
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the sustainability strategy that supports program growth and resilience
• Facilitate financial sustainability by engaging with potential supporters and coordinating with relevant institutional departments/offices
• In collaboration with AMPATH Ghana leadership and institutional communications teams, develop and implement an impactful communications plan to raise visibility and engagement
• Support partner engagement through regular communication and coordination, including organizing and facilitating partner visits to Ghana
• Other relevant duties as requested by the Executive Director of AMPATH Ghana.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a A master's degree in public health, public policy/administration, business, or a related field. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong time-management and prioritization skills; ability to work well under pressure and in teams. Comfortable working with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds, government, academia, media, and non-profit organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in public Health, public policy/administration, business or a related field preferred. Experience in global health.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $101,493.51 - $175,076.17 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
