Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and deployment of FYi's Leadership System and core leadership programs.
  • Embed competencies into talent management systems to align with organizational values.
  • Lead the Corporate Learning team to design impactful learning solutions and execute a learning roadmap.
  • Design enterprise onboarding pathways that align with role expectations.
  • Manage learning delivery across modalities and drive adoption of scalable learning platforms.
  • Identify capability gaps and partner with HR to design targeted learning interventions.

Join our team as a Manager, Organizational Effectiveness and Learning! In this role,you'lltranslate strategy into scalable leadership capability, buildingconsistent experiences across the organization, and ensuringleaders are equipped to drive performance, growth, and integration in a complex, fast-scaling environment.You willbuild,launchand ownthe enterprise leadershipsystem,andsupport broader enterpriseeffectiveness priorities.You'lldesign an annual roadmapthat willembed leadership and learning into talent,performanceand workforce planning.You'llestablishstandardized enterprise onboarding programs, create and embed frameworks for all learning and leadership initiatives. You will also, lead, coach and developtheCorporateLearning team,ensuringclear priorities,strong execution, and a high-performance culture that delivers the learning roadmap on time and within scope.

This position is based at our Home Office in Calgary, Alberta.

WhatYou'llDo

  • Drive thedevelopment,evolutionand deployment ofFYi'sLeadership System,encompassing leadershipcompetencies, level-specificbehavioral indicators, assessment frameworks, and core leadership programs
  • Embed ourcompetencies into talent management systems, integratingFYivalues into leadership expectations andpractices, ensuringconsistency across banners while allowingfor operational flexibility
  • Lead the Corporate Learning team to design and deliver high-impact, practical learningsolutions andexecute an enterprise learning roadmap aligned to business priorities, overseeing development of leadership, functional, and foundational learning programs
  • Design and evolve enterprise onboarding pathways aligned to role and leadership expectations
  • Manage learning delivery across modalities including e-learning,facilitatedsessions, and on-the-job tools, embeddinglearning into the flow of work and drive adoption of scalable learning platformswhile ensuringquality and consistency of allL&OE content
  • Support organizational design, team effectiveness, change managementand workforce planning byidentifyingcapability gaps and partnering with HR Business Partners to design targeted learning interventions thatstrengthen leadership capability and employee engagement
  • Define and embed onboarding standards that accelerate time to productivity acrossbothacquired and existing teams, supportingM&A integration through leadership alignment and capability building
  • Establish and track clear success metrics for all leadership and learning initiatives, including adoption, impact, and capability progression, using data and feedback to continuously refine programs andeliminatelow-value or duplicative learning activities
  • Provide regular reporting on learning metrics, program effectiveness, and framework adoption to the Senior Director and executive stakeholders
  • Lead, coach, and developtheCorporate Learning team, setting clear priorities, managing workloads, and fostering ahigh-performance, collaborative team culture
  • Serve asthe primaryL&OEpartner tosenior leaders and people managers, building andmaintainingstrong relationships with external partners
  • Design and execute a phased communication and activation plan for the leadership framework in partnership with HR Business Partners
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals


What You Bring

  • Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field. Graduate degree is an asset
  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Effectiveness, or a related HR discipline
  • Demonstrated experience designing and rolling out competency frameworks or leadership development programs,and onboardingor leader integration experiences across multiple modalities, including instructional design for e-learning,facilitatedsessions, and on-the-job leaning
  • Experience in high-growth, multi-site, M&A-driven, or distributed workforce environments (retail, healthcare, or similar) is an asset, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong understanding of competency-based talent management systems and learning roadmap development, with proven ability to translate business strategy into capability and lead program management
  • Experience with learning platforms and tools (LMS/LXP), data analysis, and measurement of learning effectiveness to inform continuous improvement
  • Strong communicationand facilitation skills, with experience influencing stakeholders and presenting effectively to senior leaders across all levels
  • Proven ability to inspire, coach, and mentor a team while driving organizational goals
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive leader with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively
  • Certification in facilitation, coaching, or instructional design is an asset (e.g., ATD/CPTD, ICF,Prosci)
  • Familiarity with McLean & Co. frameworks ormethodologyis an asset
  • Bilingualism English and Frenchisconsidered an asset
