Organization:
SCH-Sutter Coast Hospital

Position Overview:
Provides overall proactive management and day-to-day operational support of the activities and resources of the clinics within the Department. Day-to-day operational responsibility for administrative support staff including supervisor and staff. Supports special projects, including business plans, to ensure service growth and develops an effective team to provide cost effective, quality services which result in patient, payer, employer, physician and employee satisfaction. Offers support in planning, organizing, staffing and controlling the operational expenses related to the service line.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Demonstrated health services management knowledge including Service Line Management, Electronic Health Record, marketing, strategic and business planning, marketing principles and contracting.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills demonstrating interpersonal skills are required in order to coordinate effective area-wide integration that meets service needs as well as administrative, physician, and departmental needs in the various entities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Regulatory guidelines, The Joint Commission standards, American College of Surgeons standards, California Department of Public Health, CMS requirements, and Collective Bargaining Agreements.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.
  • Ability to handle difficult circumstances and make sound business decisions with little direction.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service and achieving business results.
  • Thorough understanding of operations and workflows and how department's process/workflow impacts other department operations.

Pay Range is $132,225.60 to $211,556.80 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
