Job Overview:

The Manager of Therapy Services is responsible for the daily operation of the assigned Physical Medicine Departments, organization of educational activities/in-services, and for participating with the Director and department leaders in the ongoing assessment and improvement of these services. In addition to the management responsibilities, the Manager may assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provide therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments in
accordance with established licensure, hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care. The Manager may also assume the duties and responsibilities of the Director in their absence. Other duties as assigned.

General Responsibilities:
  • Remain current BLS Certification
  • Remain current PT, OT, or SLP license
  • Minimum of 4 years of management experience
  • Prior experience supporting multiple care settings
  • Assists in the management of patient care within the rehabilitation services scope, ensuring high-quality treatment
    and adherence to protocols.
  • Supervises and mentors rehabilitation staff, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, therapy assistants,
    speech therapists, and administrative support professionals, to ensure effective team performance.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs and services, focusing on improving
    patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of rehabilitation services, conducting audits and ensuring compliance with
    regulatory standards.
  • Assists in budget preparation and management for the department, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial
    sustainability.
  • Coordinates with other healthcare professionals and departments to facilitate comprehensive patient care and
    promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Engages with patients and their families to provide education about rehabilitation processes, goals, and expectations.
