Job Summary and Qualifications- You will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department
- You will monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/ procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objective
- You will facilitate effective interdisciplinary care coordination within and across departments and ensure staff with appropriate clinical competencies are assigned to meet patient care needs
- You will manage nursing practice and unit operations; monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/ procedures to ensure patient and family needs are assessed and met
- You will provide leadership in attaining and sustaining an unparalleled patient experience and instill accountability for providing consistent, positive patient interactions that differentiate the organization as a healthcare leader
- You will identify development opportunities or training needs of individual employees and teams and provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance
What qualifications you will need:- Associate's Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field within 2 years of hire/ promotion required
- Current license as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
- 2+ years applicable experience required
- BLS, ACLS required
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) required
- Nationally recognized nursing certification (12 Months - New hire/ transfer must obtain within specified time frame. Required to work under credentialed RN until training certification obtained)
