Overview

Durbin Manager Position. Monday through Friday. Weekends and Disaster Response when needed

Description The Supply Operations Manager will coordinate and supervise the receipt and distribution of all supplies, equipment and material. The Supply Operations Manager will directly supervise the Mailroom, Receiving/Distribution and Central Supply cost centers. The Supply Operations Manager will provide recommendations on overall process improvements in the receipt, storage, issue and distribution of supplies, equipment and material within UF Durbin Park.

Responsibilities

  • Assists all departments with their supply operations requirements. (10%)
  • Coordinates with the Director of Supply Chain Services and the Purchasing Manager in the overall planning and implementation of procedures to meet all present and future logistics needs. (10%)
  • Directly responsible for all Supply Operations and personnel which include Central Supply and Mail Room/Receiving & Distribution cost centers. (45%)
  • Collaborates with user departments in the evaluation of performance and reliability of supplies, equipment and services. (10%)
  • Maintains adequate stock inventory in anticipation of customer requirements while continuing to strive for "Best Unit of Measure" stocking objective. Utilize technological advances as an enabler for process improvement. (25%)

Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree -OR- 5 years' experience in health care supply chain operations with a
    minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

License/Certifications
  • CMRP certification preferred

Experience
  • 3-5 years - Direct Management Experience-AND- 3+ years' experience in Healthcare Supply
    Chain Services Management Experience.
