Job Summary

The Manager, Enterprise Security Operations Center (SOC) is responsible for the leadership, oversight, and continuous improvement of the Company's 24x7 Security Operations Center. This role manages the daily operation of enterprise physical security monitoring, incident response, security technologies, threat intelligence, and critical event management.

The Manager will lead a team responsible for the proactive identification, assessment, escalation, and resolution of security incidents that may impact employees, facilities, operations, executives, or corporate assets. This position serves as a key liaison with executive leadership, law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, facilities, human resources, legal, risk management, and information technology teams to ensure a coordinated and effective security posture across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a proactive security leader with extensive experience managing security operations, physical security technologies, crisis response, personnel development, and enterprise risk mitigation in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision, oversight and management of enterprise physical security policies and develop and implement corporate security programs, protocols, and procedures to comply with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Conduct ongoing security risk assessments and vulnerability reviews across corporate facilities. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to reduce exposure to physical security threats.
  • Develop and maintain key security performance metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting related to incidents, investigations, alarm activity, response times, and system performance.
  • Manage teams to ensure security systems are operational and supported with minimal down time. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; consult with IT and/or vendor(s) as needed to ensure that issues are properly resolved.
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate operations within our buildings and perform special events and duties when assigned and direct staff to support.
  • Develop threat intelligence monitoring and escalation program for enterprise and employee business travel.
  • Ability to work independently - task oriented and able to meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
  • Physical Security Focus on physical security guards, executive protection, and event security planning.
  • Incident Management: Coordinate threats, lead incident responses and investigate security breaches throughout the company's footprint.
  • Staffing & Scheduling: managing the daily SOC schedules to ensure proper staffing.
  • Payroll Processing: review timecards for accuracy. Monitor and approve SOC members' vacation requests.
  • Conduct training on security systems for Security staff.
  • Help with duties of a SOC operator when open shifts arise, day or night.
  • Consult with law enforcement and external agencies during emergency incidents.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required or 7-10 years of security experience with 5 years supervisory/management experience
  • NYS Security Guard license required
  • Experience managing and retaining strategic relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Knowledge of access control, video management, alarm monitoring, and incident management systems required; specific experience with CCURE access control, Victor CCTV, ID printers, Qolsys/ DMP alarm panels, and/or D3 incident management preferred
  • Valid New York State driver's license

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $102,816.00 - $168,912.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
