Job Summary and Qualifications
The Cardiopulmonary Manager is a Registered Respiratory Therapist thatis responsible fordepartmental operational excellence; ensures department delivers quality patient care servicesin accordance withapplicable policies, procedures, and professional standards. Responsible for departmental operation in the director's absence.
The manager has expertise in all areas including adult, pediatric,neonatal and diagnostic testing. The Manager assures that productivity meets the standard daily by ensuring the correct number of staff are present for the number of procedures. He/she ensures the department has the necessary equipment for daily operations. He/she creates the monthly schedule for employees,assists in Kronos documentation and Lawson documentation. The Manager ensure there are adequate supplies and equipment for care of patients. The Manager participates in hiring new employees, creating annual budgets and in coaching and corrective actions, as well as performs other duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
- Associate Degree
