Qualifications

• Associates Degree from an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Specialized training in CT or MRI is a plus.
• Supervisory experience across all medical imaging functions is necessary.
• Previous hands-on experience as a radiology technologist or in Nuclear Medicine is essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
• Current state CRT license and Fluoroscopy permit by CDPH and ARRT-R are required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification (AHA) is mandatory.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory standards at federal, state, and local levels is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Radiology Services department activities, prioritizing patient and staff safety.
• Direct all human resource functions, including overseeing training and staff competency.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets to achieve organizational and patient safety goals.
• Monitor departmental performance indicators and quality improvement activities, reporting as needed.
• Step in as a radiology technician to address departmental needs when required.
