Manager of Imaging - Clermont Hospital

Job Summary:

The Manager of Imaging manages and coordinates the daily operations of all assigned areas to maintain a productive work environment. The Manager will oversee the imaging services with a focus to optimizes patient, associate, and physician experience. The Manager will also collaborate with imaging personnel, inter-disciplinary departments, facility leadership, Director of Imaging, and Medical Director of Imaging to ensure exceptional care.

Essential Functions:
  • Creates and maintains an inclusive culture of learning by supporting the growth of associates by providing in-service training and continuing education opportunities.
  • Develops and monitors associate behaviors to ensure they are meeting the Key Performance Metrics and take corrective action or action plans when warranted.
  • Implement
  • Utilize knowledge to assures compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards in alignment with the Joint Commission, ACR, State Department of Health and NCR.
  • Promotes and initiates performance improvement activities.
  • Determines the number of staff members needed.
  • Administer the operating and capital expense budget while ensuring the department stays within budget.
  • Manage patient flow and technologist hours to maintain the needs of quality radiology services.


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)


Licensure/Certification:
  • Required Certification and Registration with one of the following:
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
    • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (preferred)
  • State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed)

Experience:
  • 2 years of experience in clinical environment (required)
  • 2 years of experience as a supervisor or in a leadership position (preferred)
  • Advanced Imaging Technologies experience (preferred)
  • EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience (preferred)
